Abstract

The integration of artificial intelligence into educational systems has generated significant transformations in planning processes, assessment practices, and pedagogical decision-making. This article analyzes the impact of using artificial intelligence–based tools on learning management and instructional support in contemporary educational contexts. A descriptive-analytical approach is adopted, grounded in a systematic review of recent scientific literature and the analysis of documented experiences in educational institutions at different levels. The results indicate that artificial intelligence contributes to the personalization of learning, predictive analysis of academic performance, and optimization of instructional strategies, enabling teachers to make data-driven pedagogical decisions. Additionally, benefits related to automated feedback, early detection of learning difficulties, and increased efficiency in educational assessment are identified. However, the study also highlights challenges associated with teacher training, ethical issues in data use, the digital divide, and the need for clear regulatory frameworks. It is concluded that artificial intelligence represents a strategic opportunity to strengthen educational quality, provided that its implementation is carried out in a critical, ethical, and context-sensitive manner.
